If the user wants to be protected against risks from outside, a respiratory protection mask (FFP mask) is recommended as it stops those particles. Of course, do not forget your hand disinfection.

Due to the great demand for mouth masks, worldwide, there is a large shortage. This explains the current price fluctuations / price increases.

For mouth masks with FFP1 there is a filtering efficiency of at least 78%.
These FFP1 mouth masks are shell-shaped. These protective masks are very comfortable to wear and have an easy to shape nose clip.
For example, it protects the user from infection in a coughing patient with an infectious disease. It also protects against inhaling small particles during an operation in a patient causing aerosols, such as bronchoscopy.

How to use a mouth mask?
Make sure the hands are always clean, possibly disinfected with a hand alcohol first.
Make sure the mask fits well on the face. If the mask does not fit properly, you can inhale unfiltered contaminated air through the edges.
Pull open the mask, bending the nose clip slightly.
Hold the mask in one hand and the elastic bands in the other. Hold the mask under the chin and place the elastic bands on the crown of the head.
Make sure that the flap under the chin is properly seated backwards. Place the lower elastic under the ears. The straps do not cross.
Place the top of the mask just below the bridge of the nose. That is the soft part of the nose. Press on the mask with two hands on both sides at the same time. Move from top to bottom. If you do not do this correctly, a gap will quickly appear.
Feel if the mask fits properly.
The mask is for single use and should be disposed of in the waste bin after use.
If you suspect leakage, try to place the mask in such a way that it does not happen again.
NOTE: Mouth masks cannot be taken back for hygienic reasons
